It needed up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

The New Zealand onslaught in 2022 came as she led the batting statistics, but this innings followed six innings in India over the past few weeks in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it has been a challenging time because it appeared my form was missing completely," stated Healy.

"Yet the moment you take the field, your fighting spirit take over and you completely engage with the match."

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

By the time she was out her side required another 66 at one run per ball - an unconquered height now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the confidence to do that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if we do, we believe we can do it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this championship need to hear.

In recent days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this victory coming after success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they exited the previous year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy was absent due to ruptured tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the initial instance at a major tournament.

Such is her determination, she subsequently stated she wished she had played despite the injury.
