Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time available through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.
The Main Attraction
The standout feature is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Basic Package

This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
